What should I do first in Magic Loot?
Follow the beginner guide loop for the first hour: pads, early stages, sell, Wand, Index Claim, then Rebirth when thresholds make sense.

These Magic Loot tips are the Beta mistake list for the Roblox incremental wizard sim from Magic Magic +1 +1 +1: skip pads and you stall, sell Index-new mats and you freeze backpack growth, buy Armor too early and you starve Wand Power, Rebirth broke with empty Coins and you crawl, trust random YouTube codes and you waste the redeem UI. Start with the short high-impact list, then use the sections below when you want the “why” behind each habit. If a live Discord patch note contradicts a row, trust the patch note and re-verify later.

| Priority | Habit | Deep page |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Train on pads, not hub spam alone | Train Magic |
| 2 | Buy strongest affordable Wand | Wands |
| 3 | Register new Index types; Claim slots | Collection Index |
| 4 | Delay Armor until Coin income is strong | Armor |
| 5 | Rebirth with keepable gear + recovery Coins | Rebirth |
| 6 | Only redeem verified codes | Codes |
If you have not finished one clean Train → dungeon → sell → upgrade cycle, read the beginner guide first. This page assumes you know the loop and are still leaking time through specific Beta mistakes.
You can click Left Mouse Button anywhere to raise Power, but the training area on the left side of the main dungeon gives more Power per click. Skipping pads is the most common “I am stuck on early packs” cause.
| Behavior | Result | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Hub click spam only | Slow Power; bosses feel impossible | Walk left to pads before deep pushes |
| Enter dungeon underpowered | Wipe loops, empty loot trips | Train until packs die quickly |
| Pad train between sell trips | Faster clear → more Coins → better Wand | Default habit |
| Pad train after a wipe | Recovery without tilting | Required before re-challenging a boss gate |
A potion will not fix a Power deficit as efficiently as two focused minutes on pads. Boss strategy still starts here — Bosses · Train Magic.
Collection Index only advances on new material types. Selling your first Goblin Finger, Copper Earring, or Furnace Core for a handful of Coins can delay the Claim chest that adds a backpack slot — and that slot is worth more than the sell price of one early mat.

Starter backpack space is about two items. If both slots are filler commons, a new Index type on the floor is a failed run even if you “won” the fight. Index habits deepen on Collection Index.
After a type is registered, extras can feed Potions or Coin sales. Do not hoard every mushroom forever while your Wand is still Twisted — but never sell the first copy before Index sees it.
Wands give flat Power for dungeon clears and keep that bonus through Rebirth. Armor multiplies how quickly you gain Power while training, but it is much more expensive — beginner routes treat it as mid-game, sometimes after several Rebirths. A good community checkpoint: consider Armor when average dungeon runs consistently earn more than 100,000 Coins.
| Purchase | Buy when | Wait if |
|---|---|---|
| Next Wand rung | Almost always — strongest you can afford | You are one Index Claim from a slot and the chest is ready |
| Index Claim | Whenever Claim is lit | Never “save” an unclaimed chest |
| Armor piece | Coin income already strong (~100k+ average runs) | You still need early Wand rungs or backpack slots |
| Alchemy brew | Unlocked recipe + boss/deep gate planned | Recipe is Rebirth-locked and Power is still low |
| Starlight / Robux Armor | Only as an intentional spend | You expected it to replace pad training |

Rebirth resets current Power for permanent Power and Coin multipliers. Wands and Armor bonuses stay. The mistake is not Rebirthing — it is Rebirthing with no recovery plan.
| Mistake | Why it hurts | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Rebirth with zero Coins left | Rebuild has no Wand upgrade buffer | Leave Coins for a recovery Wand rung if you still need one |
| Skipping Wand buy you already farmed for | You reset after the hard farm, before the permanent flat Power | Buy the Wand, then Rebirth |
| Ignoring ready Index Claim | Rebuild starts at tiny bag size needlessly | Claim slots first |
| Fear of Rebirth forever | Late progression stalls without multipliers | Take the threshold when available after the checklist above |
| Rebirth mid-boss with full filler bag | You convert nothing into keepable value | Sell, upgrade, Claim, then reset |
If your next Wand is almost affordable, finish that buy before you hit Rebirth. Flat Wand Power survives; raw Power does not. Climbing the first post-Rebirth minutes with a stronger Wand still equipped is the whole point of that order — Rebirth.
Players who “will do Index later” Rebirth into the same two-slot trap. Slots are permanent quality-of-life; Claim them whenever the chest is ready so the multiplier climb can carry more loot per run.
As of August 16, 2026, there are zero verified working Magic Loot codes. Videos titled like “ALL WORKING CODES” often demo the Settings gear UI with dead, wrong-game, or never-live strings. Pasting them teaches you nothing except how to get Invalid.
Even when a real code lands, it is a bonus on top of pads, dungeon Coins, Wands, and Index. An empty codes week should still move your account — that is why this tips page exists.
Did I pad-train before the hard gate?
Did I sell Index-new mats by mistake?
Did I buy Armor before Wand/Index needed it?
If I Rebirthed, did I leave a recovery Wand plan?
Did I paste an unverified YouTube code?
Follow the beginner guide loop for the first hour: pads, early stages, sell, Wand, Index Claim, then Rebirth when thresholds make sense.
Usually skipping training pads or selling Collection Index first-finds while stuck on two backpack slots.
Usually no. Buy Wands and expand Index first. Consider Armor after strong Coin runs (community tip: ~100k+ average).
When the option is available and you have bought keepable Wands / claimed ready Index chests — leave Coins for recovery if you still need a Wand rung.
Not as of August 16, 2026. See the codes page and official Discord; ignore fake YouTube lists.
No. Flat Wand Power and Armor multipliers stay. Raw Power resets for permanent multipliers.
Collection Index milestones — new material types only, then Claim chests for more slots.
