Do Wands reset on Rebirth?
No — Wand flat Power stays. Only raw trained Power resets.

Magic Loot rebirth trades current raw Power for permanent multipliers on Power gain and Coin income. Each Rebirth needs a Power threshold on the in-game panel. Wands and Armor keep their bonuses; raw pad Power from LMB training does not. Exact thresholds and payouts can shift in Beta — confirm the live UI. Rebirth is a progression reset, not a full wipe. You meet a Power requirement, click Rebirth, lose current raw Power, and gain permanent bonuses to how fast Power and Coins come back. Without those multipliers, late climbs become extremely slow.
| Thing | After Rebirth | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Raw Power (LMB / pads) | Resets toward zero | Feels bad; rebuild with multipliers |
| Wand flat Power | Keeps | Safe Coin sink before clicking |
| Armor Power multiplier | Keeps | Pad sessions stay accelerated |
| Permanent Power/Coin multipliers | Increase | Reason to take the reset |
| Dungeon access / loop | Still available | Same train → clear → sell cycle |
| Potion recipes gated by Rebirth level | May unlock | See Alchemy / Potions page |
| Consumable potions in bag | Still consumables | Not a permanent keep strategy |
The discomfort is intentional. Beginner videos say it feels rough at first, but skipping Rebirth eventually stalls the account harder than the short rebuild. Treat the panel numbers as truth if this wiki’s Beta notes lag a patch.
Do not invent Coin-loss rules from outdated videos. Read the Rebirth confirmation text in-game for what happens to your current Coin pile — Beta copy can change. The durable rule this wiki stands on: Wand/Armor Power contributions survive.
Default community advice: Rebirth whenever the option becomes available, then use the permanent boost to rebuild faster than the previous cycle. Use the table below for edge cases so you do not soft-lock a Wand purchase you already farmed for.
| Signal | Rebirth now? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Rebirth UI available / Power threshold met | Yes — take it | Permanent multipliers beat more raw clicking |
| About to afford a big Wand you already farmed for | Buy Wand first, then Rebirth | Flat Power keeps; farming was the hard part |
| Index chest one claim away | Claim slot, then Rebirth | Larger backpack speeds the rebuild |
| Sitting on filler only, no upgrades queued | Rebirth | Filler sells; multipliers accelerate the next loop |
| Mid-boss with empty bag and no threshold | Do not force it | Finish the run or pad-train to the real gate |
| Hoarding for Apollo with threshold lit | Rebirth | Secret ladder fantasy should not block multipliers |
Training speeds, boss tuning, and rebirth payouts are explicitly mutable in Public Beta. Bookmark this page, but trust the live panel if numbers disagree.
Keep the shop. Reset the click total. That sentence is the whole Rebirth mental model.
All purchased Wand flat Power and Armor multipliers remain. Twisted through Apollo, Apprentice through Starlight — if you bought it, the bonus stays. That is why spend order before reset matters.
Collection Index backpack progress is part of long-term account growth — claim chests before reset when you are one click away. Alchemy potion recipes can lock behind Rebirth level; taking Rebirths is how those recipes open. Named brew example: Dragon Breath. Details: Potions · Collection Index.
Raw Power. You retrain on pads with LMB. Gear and permanent multipliers make that retrain faster than the first life.
Last-minute Coins should become keepable gear — Power is trained with LMB on pads, not purchased with Coins, and raw Power is about to reset.
| Last-minute option | Keep after Rebirth? | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Next affordable Wand | Yes | Best default spend |
| First/next Armor if income supports it | Yes | Good if you already clear the Coin bar |
| Index chest claim | Slots stay | Do this if ready |
| Long pad grind with Coins unspent | Power no | Buy gear first, then Rebirth |
| Starlight Armor (799 Robux) | Yes | Only if you intended a Robux buy anyway |
| Random vanity / unneeded consumables | Varies | Skip — Coins belong on Wand ladder |
Sell loot for Coins, yes. Leave those Coins unused while you LMB on pads that will reset, no — not when a Wand rung is sitting in the shop. Coins buy gear; pads train Power. The Train Magic page covers pads; this page owns the reset timing.

Same loop as hour one, with better tools: left pads, early stages, sell, climb the Wand ladder you already own, claim Index targets, push until the next threshold lights up.
Permanent Power and Coin multipliers plus kept flat Wand Power (and Armor if owned) stack. You are not starting from Twisted day-one emptiness unless you never bought anything — which is the real mistake.
It is normal to finish several Rebirths before Apprentice Armor. Keep taking resets; buy Armor when average runs print well over ~100,000 Coins. See Armor.
Scan before you click. Most stalls are psychological or last-minute spend errors.
| Mistake | Fix |
|---|---|
| Never Rebirthing because Power loss feels bad | Take the reset when the panel allows — multipliers are the content |
| Grinding pad Power with Coins unspent pre-reset | Buy Wand/Armor first |
| Rebirthing one Coin short of a farmed Wand | Finish the Wand buy, then Rebirth |
| Ignoring Index chests before reset | Claim slots that are ready |
| Hub-only rebuild after reset | Use pads left of the dungeon |
| Skipping Discord/patch notes when payouts change | Check Discord if Beta text moves |
Rebirth sits at the end of the loop. Deepen the systems you keep across the reset.
No — Wand flat Power stays. Only raw trained Power resets.
No — Armor Power multipliers stay.
Confirm in the in-game Rebirth panel — Beta text can change. Do not trust outdated video claims. Safe habit: spend spare Coins on keepable Wands/Armor before you click.
When the panel becomes available. Buy any affordable keepable Wand first if you already farmed for it, then take the permanent multipliers.
Retrain on pads left of the dungeon (Train Magic guide), then push early stages again with kept gear.
Some Alchemy recipes lock behind Rebirth progress. Taking resets unlocks stronger brews over time — see the Potions guide.
